On “Ode to a Brother”
I wrote the first draft of this poem several years after my brother died, and it sat in the ‘pending revision’ folder for several more years. Writing about Walter is one of the most emotionally challenging tasks I set for myself; even when I don’t want or mean to write about him, he is a red thread throughout my work.
I was riding the wave of multiple publications of my work and decided to submit Ode to a Brother to Military Experience and the Arts, and was gratified by the feedback I received. Check it out below.
great issues altogether, you just won a brand new reader.
What might you suggest in regards to your put up that you just made some days ago?
Any positive?
